Project consisted of remodeling the interior, and
renovating the exterior of an existing one story
structure that was formerly a 6,046sf senior living
center. 4,728sf of the interior was redesigned and
built out for Dr. Sims's Pediatric Dental Center.
The first objective for this project was to renovate the
existing vacated structure to fix maintenance and
neglect problems. The roof was replaced, new metal
soffit panel, metal faschia, downspouts and gutters
were added, and the windows replaced. The second
objective was to remodel the interior to serve both as
a pediatric dental office and a future othodontic office.
The plan was split with the pediatric chairs on one
side, the future orthodontic chairs on the other, and
shared services such as patient consultation, xray,
parent waiting and sterilization down the center. The
final objective was to provide an environment which
fosters a more enjoyable dental experience and
allows the patient to feel more at ease. The was
accomplished through the use of bold primary colors
and a eclectic mix of finishes and furniture.
